Guide To Having Your Blog Read

Having Your Blog ReadSo you have decided to start blogging. Congratulations! You are on your way to offering your customers a whole new insight on your business. Before you start blogging, however, you may want to know some of the pitfalls that you are going to run into. I have been blogging for the past 5 years now and I’d be happy to give you some wisdom on getting people interested in your blog.

You’ve started your blog and you have no readers. You aren’t alone in this. In fact, most people who have a blog don’t have anyone but family and friends reading their posts for the first few months – if ever. So what does a new blogger do?

Before I go into telling you what to do and what not to do, let me give you a little background about me. I started my first blog in 2008 and it was absolutely terrible. I had no clue what I was doing so I just went along and “winged it.” It failed. Then, in May of 2009, I tried another blog. This blog offered quality content and was fun to read. My first few days I had some success, getting between 20-30 people on the site. Then, I learned the tricks I am about to give you below. Before I knew it, 100-500 people were on the site every day and now, it’s been a couple of years later and I have 1500-2500 people who enjoy the site every day. How? By following the following rules.
